The Eterno Forto floor solution should be applied in areas intended for heavy duty industrial use. The product is cement and mineral based. Steel fiber is used to achieve the highest strength and density levels.
The unique composition of the concrete mix results in a unique, strong and condensed final result. Therefore the layer only needs to be 15 millimeters thick, resulting in a short application time. The Forto solution is more sustainable through less use of raw materials. This also results in fewer material and labor costs. 48 Hours after application the moisture grade in many situations will be lower than 4% (assuming an ambient temperature of 20 degrees Celsius). Hence the industrial area can be put in use quickly, reducing downtime costs without compromising on quality.
Forto floors can be applied taking into account of a desired slope. For example, this slope is useful to achieve drainage for cleaning purposes.
For extra wear resistance the floor can be sprinkled with Eterno MS25-MS50. This is recommended when there is a lot of vehicle movement on the floor.
Eterno Forto can also be used as a fill layer for specialized solutions, like epoxy and synthetic resin floor systems. The right coating can be applied by one of Eterno’s strategic partners. As a result, you have one single point of contact and the guarantee will be applicable on both the filling layer and the coating.
To realize an Eterno Forto floor, Eterno makes use of specialized equipment. In consultation with our clients we strive to make use of electrical power floating machinery where possible. This reduces exhaust gases, CO2 emissions and noise disturbance.
